Our Leadership

Rector: Wren Blessing started her ministry at St. Patrick’s in August, 2021. Wren has previously served as Rector of Grace Church in the Episcopal Diocese of Olympia, as director of a summer camp in Montana, and in English and Spanish language congregations in North Carolina. Pastoral Assistant: Emrys Tyler serves with St. Patrick’s on a part time basis, and is a Presbyterian pastor who has lived in Pagosa Springs for nine years. Having served various congregations as solo pastor, Emrys, the parent of two children, has spent the last four years doing repair, construction, and design work. Contact Emrys by email here.

Choir Director: Robert Neel directs St. Patrick’s choir, which rehearses on Wednesdays from 4-5:30pm. The choir is accompanied by Kathy Isberg. Contact Robert by email here.

Deacon: Wendy McAllister was ordained to the diaconate in March of 2025 and was assigned to serve at St. Patrick’s with a focus on feeding ministries, and particularly on coordinating St. Patrick’s food pantry. Wendy is an accomplished baker, and delights in sharing hospitality. She serves on the board of Pagosa Outreach Connection and Friends and Neighbors in Need. Contact Wendy by email here.

Administrator & Bookkeeper: Gail Vollmer is in St. Patrick’s office on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9-2, and brings extensive accounting experience, an artistic eye, and attention to detail to her work in our office. Contact Gail by email here.

Vestry:

The vestry serves as the governing body for the church. Vestry members are elected by the parish at the Annual Parish Meeting.
