Newsletter Submission Guidelines:
• Parish Calendar: All events must be on the parish calendar in order to appear in the newsletter or bulletin. Fill out this form to reserve the space. If you just want a blurb about your event, this form is all you need to complete.
• Newsletter Deadline: fill out the submission form (or send information to our newsletter editor by email) by 12 pm noon on the Wednesday prior to Friday publication.
• Bulletin Deadline: If you’d like your submission included in the announcements section of St. Patrick’s bulletin, the calendar form must be complete by 12 pm noon on the Tuesday prior to Sunday publication.
• Word Limit: Please limit newsletter submissions to 150 words in text format (unless agreed to in advance). Bulletin submissions should be 80 words or less. We will include blurbs for an event for two weeks prior to that event.
•Content: Include the “who-what-where-when-why” information in the first paragraph of each submission. Submissions will be edited for clarity and space.
• Photos: Photos are welcome. Please include files in the form or send .jpg files with a minimum size of 1100 pixels wide (for phone images, select “original size” when sending).
•Community News: Please note that we can link to community news events, but cannot dedicate more than a sentence or two to promoting a community event.
